The individual bristles are spiral wound to give a higher surface area and provides ultimate strength. Matala filter brushes do not sag or droop over time like inferior brands. On the top of each brush is a support ring in which to hang the brush in your filter chamber. 2 sizes available. Actual brush dimensions are 23 L x 4 diameter 13 L x 4 diameter. The plastic ring adds an additional 3 inches to the height.
