Roll Matala

R-Matala, the perfect “drop in” media for Vortex filters and barrel filters. R-Matala has the same qualities as the sheets of Matala in a coiled pre-cut cartridge.

Simply select the diameter roll and the density you need for your round tank and drop it in.

Many diameters are available: 18″; 22″; 24″; 27″; 30″; 37″; 42″; 48″.

Please measure the inside diameter of your filter tank exactly.  The R-Matala roll needs to squeeze in tight to ensure no by-pass of water flow.  The proper roll size of R-Matala should be 1/2″ to 3/4″ bigger than the actual diameter of your filter tank.  The R-Matala rolls come from the factory with this slight excess “built in” to help ensure you get a tight fit.  Example: the 22″ diameter R-Matala roll is actually closer to 22.5″ diameter.  Please understand that the rolls are measured and cut by hand from the factory so there will be slight variations in actual diameter of each roll.                        If you need help getting a size that fits tightly, please call us for help.  949-273-8888
