If your unit is over a year old you may need to purchase a new Immersion UVC ballast The Unit is new but my water is still green The UV unit takes time to work its magic once installed. We estimate that it may take up to 3 weeks for an aqequately sized UV unit to clarify a body of water. If your unit has been installed for over 3 weeks and you aren't seeing clarity there may be a seperate issue Please make sure your UV light is adequately sized. We recommend for optimal clarity 20 watts of UV per 1000 gallons of water. Please ensure the hourly pump flow rate through the UV is a minimum of your pond gallons per hour; this is called turnover rate. Please read our article on controlling algae with UV for more information. If your UV unit is adequately sized, you have waited 3 weeks for the unit to work, and your bulb is emitting light then please give us a call to discuss. The cord melted or lamp connector is showing burn marks Please check our our ballast trouble shooting guide below Ballast Trouble Shooting Guide If your unit is less than a year old you may qualify for a warranty replacement.
