Matala filter media is used around the world for aerobic and anaerobic wastewater treatment processes. As Submerged Aerated Filter (SAF) processes in decentralized wastewater treatment systems in Europe and Asia. Assisting with BOD, SS and COD reduction for effluent water.
Also used in “Integrated Fixed Film/Activated Sludge Systems” and improves treatment capacity. Special project as “Odor Control” in municipal waste water treatment facilities, Matala filter media installed in Bio Towers for sewer odor control in Hyperion wastewater treatment plant.
